For those who know me well, they know that I love creating. In college, I had the idea to start a clothing company using the semester’s worth of graphic design “skills” I had developed. Unsurprisingly, that didn’t take off. But my love for building and creating never wained. And now we’re here, a week away from the launch of Five One Three, a revamped idea for streetwear brand inspired by people the places that mean so much to me. Cincinnati. NY/NJ. Charlotte. One raised me. Another embraced me. The other challenged me. Without these places, and the people I love that are there, there is no way I could do this. Five One Three is going to be more than merch. It will be community. It will be positive communal impact. It will be a way to express and enjoy fashion in an approachable way. We’re going to do this together because Strength in Unity is what makes us special.
Get excited. We’re just getting started.
